Welcome to Minecraft Experience’s Privacy Policy. This page serves to inform you of our policies on the collection, use and disclosure of personal information regarding anyone who chooses to use our services (this “Privacy Policy”).
This Privacy Policy covers Experience Mod LLC owned and/or operated websites and third-party websites contracted by Experience Mod LLC for the Minecraft Experience, and its mobile app (collectively “Sites”), and any other services offered by Experience Mod LLC, including but not limited to the Minecraft Experience, ticketing, events, entertainment services, consumer products and interactive services (“Services”). Minecraft Experience refers to Experience Mod LLC and its affiliated entities (“we,” “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy forms part of our TERMS OF USE which govern your access to the Sites and your use of the Sites and/or Services. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used herein shall have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.
By using the Services and/or Sites, then you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. This Privacy Policy describes the types of information we gather from people visiting our Sites and from individual users (“you”, “your” or “users”) interacting with the Services and how we use, transfer, and secure such information.
We may, from time to time at our discretion, update this policy without prior notice. Changes to this policy will be reflected on the Site. Any amended Privacy Policy is effective upon posting of the revised Privacy Policy.
Collection of Information
“Personal Information” is data that can be used to identify or contact a single person, directly or indirectly. We obtain most of the Personal Information we collect about you when you interact with our Sites and/or Services, including when you communicate with us. We may also obtain Personal Information from our service providers or other partners in the course of assisting us to provide you with our Sites and/or Services.
The types of information we collect typically include:
- Contact information, including your first and last name, email address, postal address, and phone number
- Account credentials, including your username, password, password hints, and information for authentication and account access
- Demographics, including your age and gender
- Device/IP and location information, including IP address, Device ID, Type of device/operating system/browsers used to access the Services
- Internet activity information, including browsing history and information regarding your interaction with our website, applications, or advertisements, as provided automatically to us through your interaction with our Sites or Services; and as may be received from our service providers or marketing partners
- Commercial information, including your interests, Minecraft Experience products or services purchased or considered, preferences and favorites
- Likeness and content, including any images you may upload on our Sites or other type of content within any messages you send to us (such as feedback and questions to customer support) or publicly post on the Sites (such as in product reviews or blog comments)
- Inferences drawn from any of the above to create a profile about your preferences and characteristics.
The Types of Technologies We Use to Collect Information Automatically:
We may use cookies and similar technologies such as pixel tags. Cookies are files with a small amount of data that is commonly used as an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your computer’s hard drive. You have the option to either accept or refuse them and know when a cookie is being sent to your computer. If you choose to refuse them however, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service. Pixel Tags allow us to count users who have visited certain pages of our websites, to deliver branded services, and to help determine the effectiveness of promotional or advertising campaigns. When used in HTML-formatted e-mail messages, Pixel Tags can tell the sender whether and when an e-mail has been opened.

When you visit or use our Sites, we can receive information about your location via your IP address, and may receive and collect information transmitted from your computing device for the purposes of providing you the relevant Services, such as information regarding when you are logged and availed to receive updates or alert notices. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer whenever you access the Internet. Our computers identify your computer by its IP address.
Use of Information
We may collect, use and disclose your information in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy, including to: (1) enhance or personalize your website usage and experience; (2) monitor website usage and analyze trends, usage, and activities; and (3) improve the website and our services, including providing you with interest-based ads. We may work with service providers or third parties that help us track, collect and analyze this information. We may combine the information we collect through cookies with other information we have collected from you or information from other sources. We partner with third-party advertising companies that use tracking technologies to serve our advertisements across the Internet. These advertising companies may collect information about your visits to ours and other websites. These advertising companies serve ads on behalf of us and others on nonaffiliated sites, and some of those ads may be personalized, meaning that they are intended to be relevant to you based on information collected about your visits to our Sites and elsewhere over time.
Other uses may include:
- enable you to access and use our Sites and Services;
- contact and communicate with you, provide customer support and manage your account;
- internal record keeping and other administrative purposes;
- comply with our legal obligations, enforce our terms and conditions and resolve disputes;
- prevent and address fraud, breach of policies or terms, and threats or harm; and
- fulfill any other purpose at your direction with notice to you and your consent.
We may use your information to get in touch with you to promote new offers, opportunities or features or to provide you with our newsletters and/or marketing materials or other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these promotional communications from us by emailing us at hello@minecraftexperience.com, or following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send. Please note that you cannot opt-out of non-promotional emails, such as those about your account, transactions, servicing, or our ongoing business relations.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information, as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, for purposes other than those specified in Section 7027(m) of the California Consumer Privacy Act regulations.
We strive to retain your Personal Information only for as long as we have a legal or business purpose for it or as otherwise required for us to meet our legal, regulatory or other compliance obligations. The criteria used to determine retention periods includes the legal limitation of liability period, agreed contractual provisions, applicable regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Notwithstanding the above, information that has been aggregated, de-identified or anonymized so that it cannot reasonably be linked to you is not Personal Information, and we may use such aggregated, de-identified or anonymized data for any purpose except as prohibited by applicable law and share with it with third parties for our lawful business purposes, including to analyze, build and improve the Services, provided that we will not share such data in a manner that could identify you. When we maintain and use aggregated, de-identified or anonymized data, we do not attempt to re-identify the data unless you have given us consent to maintain and use the data in identifiable form.
Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your information with notice to you and your consent and in accordance with the practices described in this Privacy Policy under the following circumstances:
- We may share all of the categories of Personal Information identified above with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf. These service providers may use the Personal Information to send emails for us, help us manage and operate our sites, process and fulfill payment, ticketing and purchases, provide advertising or marketing services, provide analytics and search engine support, track advertising impressions, investigate and prevent data security incidents, audit our business and financial statements, provide legal and professional advice, data storage, web-hosting, server and IT services, debt collectors, maintenance or problem-solving services and place our advertisements on other platforms.
Where we contract with others to perform functions of this nature, we only provide them with the information they need to perform their specific function, and they are obligated to protect and secure your information, as such our credit card processing partner Square Inc. (“Square”) collects your voluntarily provided payment card information necessary to process your payment. Please see Square’s terms of service and privacy policy for information on its use and storage of your Personal Information.
- We may disclose information to parties for analytics and advertising related purposes.
- Our promotions may be jointly sponsored or offered by other parties. When you voluntarily enter a promotion, we share information as set out in the official rules that govern the promotion as well as for administrative purposes and as required by law (e.g., on a winners list). By entering a promotion, you agree to the official rules that govern that promotion and may, except where prohibited by applicable law, allow the sponsor and/or other entities to use your name, voice and/or likeness in advertising or marketing materials.
- We may also release Personal Information to law enforcement, government agencies or others when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce or apply our conditions of use and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of our Services, our users, or others. We may disclose to courts, tribunals, regulatory authorities and law enforcement officers, as required by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights. We will also release information if we are acquired by or merged with another company, or if substantially all of our assets are transferred to another company, or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding. We may disclose all types of Personal Information to our affiliates and related entities, including where they act as our service providers or for their own internal purposes.
Financial Incentives
Limited-Time Promotions or Sweepstakes: From time to time, we may offer incentives limited to a specific time period, such as limited-time sweepstakes, contests and other promotions. In exchange for your participation in these promotions, you may be offered a financial incentive, such as a prize. As part of these limited-time promotions or sweepstakes, we may collect your Personal Information, such as your name, email address, and/or phone number. Participation in a limited-time offer or promotion is governed by the applicable terms and conditions for the program (e.g., Sweepstakes Rules and Prize Acceptance Agreements), which will also describe any financial incentives associated with the promotion and how to opt in and participate. You can terminate participation at any time as will be explained in the program terms. The value of your personal information to us is related to the costs and expenses associated with making the Rewards and Offers available to Program participants (including IT, administration, direct costs, third party costs, and service development costs).
Your Choices
We provide you the ability to exercise choices regarding our collection, use and sharing of your information. In accordance with applicable law, your choices may include:
- Opting-out of cookies and other technologies: you can manage your cookie preferences at any time by clicking here, or by accessing a “Cookies Settings” within your account.
- Using your browser or device settings to clear or reject nonessential cookies;
- On mobile devices, adjusting your device-level advertising privacy settings;
- Opting-out of Marketing Communications: you will have an opportunity at the time we collect your information to limit e-mail communications from us and from our third-party partners;
- Choosing whether to receive from us offers and promotions for our products and services, or products and services that we think may be of interest to you;
- Requesting removal of your Personal Information from a Minecraft Experience controlled public forum on one of our Sites or applications; and/or
- Requesting access to or deletion of the Personal Information we hold about you. (See the “Consumer Rights” section)
Please be aware that the foregoing controls and choices may only be available where required by law and for certain products. If you do not allow us to collect Personal Information from you, we may not be able to deliver certain experiences, products, Sites and Services to you, and some of our Sites and Services may not be able to take account of your interests and preferences.

Consumer Rights
Depending on where you live in the United States, you may have specific rights around your Personal Information. Below we explain what those rights are and how you can exercise them:
- The right to know certain details about our data practices in the past 12 months. In particular, you may request the following information from us:
- the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you;
- the categories of sources from which the Personal Information was collected;
- the categories of Personal Information about you we disclosed for a business purpose or sold;
- the categories of third parties to whom the Personal Information was disclosed for a business purpose or sold; and
- the business or legal purpose for collecting the Personal Information;
- The right to delete the Personal Information we have collected from you (subject to certain exceptions); and
- The right to correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you.
Please note that we do not offer the “right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information” as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, because we do not collect or process sensitive personal Information with the purpose of inferring characteristics of individuals.
To exercise any of these rights, please submit a request to legal@expmod.com . In the request, please specify which right you are seeking to exercise and the scope of the request. We may require specific information from you to help us verify your identity and process your request. If we are unable to verify your identity, we may deny your requests to know or delete. We will respond to requests as required by applicable law.
Right to Opt-Out of the Sale or Sharing of Your Personal Information
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your Personal Information for targeted advertising. As already mentioned, we engage in targeted advertising through the use of third-party cookies or pixels. In this connection, we may share the following Personal Information with marketing partners: (a) cookies and IP address; (b) usage information; (c) general location information; and (d) inference data. You may request to opt-out of this type of personal information sale or sharing by accessing your cookie management settings by clicking Link to Cookie Preferences.
We do not knowingly share the Personal Information of minors under eighteen (18) years of age.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information (as defined by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”)) from children under the age of 13 in connection with the features of our Sites or Services without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you are under the age of thirteen (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence), please do not transmit any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or email address. If you are a parent or guardian and believe we have collected personal information in violation of COPPA, contact us legal@expmod.com . We will remove the personal information in accordance with COPPA.
Shine the Light
We do not rent, sell, or share Personal Information with non-affiliated companies for their direct marketing uses as contemplated by California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83), unless we have your permission.
Links to Other Websites
Our Sites may contain links to other websites. These hyperlinks are provided for your reference and convenience only, and do not imply any endorsement of the activities of these third-party websites or any association with their operators. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their data practices. We urge you to review the privacy policy posted on any website you visit before using the website or providing any personal information about yourself.
Security
In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place reasonable physical, electronic and managerial procedures designed to safeguard and secure personal information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorized access, modification and disclosure. However, we cannot assure you that the personal information we collect will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
The security of your use of the Sites also relies on your protection of your mobile device. Be sure to use a known and trusted secure connection and to log off when finished using a shared computer. You should be aware that there is always some risk involved in transmitting information over the Internet. There is also some risk that others could find a way to thwart our security systems. As a result, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security and privacy of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.
We will never ask you to send your password or other sensitive information to us in an email, though we may ask you to enter this type of information on our Site or mobile application interface. Any email or other communication purporting to be from our Sites requesting your password or asking you to provide sensitive account information via email should be treated as unauthorized and suspicious and should be reported to us immediately by emailing legal@expmod.com
Governing Law
This privacy policy forms part of our Site and Services’ Terms of Use and as such shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware.
